SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND, UNITED STATES, May 16, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — Generally we all follow one career path and climb the corporate matter seeking to find success and financial fulfillment. But sometimes people are skilled at various types of work and possess a unique thirst for knowledge that leads them to explore many different job opportunities. By providing their unique vision, ingenuity, and exceptional diversity it allows them to contribute to so many different fields in need of their exceptional skills and talent.
Sidney is a Voiceover Actor, Business Consultant, Newspaper Editor, Procurement Analyst, Contracting Officer, and weather forecaster.
“I am proud to have been the first contract specialist with the Drug Enforcement Administration in the Department of Justice in 1986 when it was a brand new agency,” says Sidney. “It was gratifying to know I made a difference in my field and was able to lend my expertise throughout my entire career.”
From 1962 to 1997 Sidney worked for the Federal government as a contracting officer writing and negotiating contracts. During his impactful time in government he played an influential role counseling small businesses on how to promote themselves effectively. His time in government left him extremely knowledgeable and well versed on dealing with the government on a one to one basis and how to efficiently write quality business plans.
“When I retired from government contracting I welcomed the opportunity to explore my other diverse passionate interest in History, Social science, Psychology, and Philosophy,” says Sidney. “It was so gratifying how I was able to work in other fields like weather forecasting and writing. To be able to dabble in different work that I excel is exciting and rewarding.”
Currently Sidney is writing articles for a few well-regarded journals and is managing editor for a quarterly newspaper The Citizen’s Informer and has created his own popular newsletter. But his most exciting endeavor was pursuing his love and exceptional talent doing acting/voiceovers. For two years he has played Dracula for local Halloween events and a blood drive and was highly praised for his remarkable ability to emulate the voice of Dracula. He welcomes the opportunity to play Dracula for any future gigs that become available.
“I aspire to make the world a better place to live,” says Sidney. “Whatever I devote myself to I make absolute certain to do it with total dedication. By giving back and applying all our abilities and creativity we were born with we can make life a lot more interesting, imaginative, and inspiring.”
