Xometry Unveils Its Next-Gen Workcenter Experience, Streamlining How Manufacturing Partners Find, Evaluate, and Accept Jobs

  • The redesigned Workcenter homepage unifies job discovery, performance tracking, and payment visibility in one view, with a dedicated screen for reviewing technical drawings before accepting work.
  • This announcement builds on Xometry’s new AI sourcing models introduced in July 2026.
  • In early testing, the rebuilt Job Board cut job review time by more than 60% and increased job acceptance rates by approximately 15% for partners in Xometry's network.

NORTH BETHESDA, Md., Sept. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Xometry, Inc. (NASDAQ: XMTR), the global, AI-native marketplace connecting buyers and suppliers of custom manufacturing, announced the launch of its next-gen Workcenter experience for manufacturing partners. Building on the AI model enhancements Xometry announced in July, the redesigned Workcenter pairs the company's machine learning engine with a new homepage and rebuilt Job Board. Manufacturing partners now have greater visibility into available work, on-platform technical drawing evaluation, improved performance tracking, and payment status in a streamlined experience.

First released in 2022, Workcenter is Xometry's platform for partners to surface jobs, evaluate and accept work, track performance, and manage payments. This redesign focuses on the two areas partners use most: the homepage, which now surfaces jobs needing attention, new work, upcoming payouts, and performance scores in one view; and the Job Board, where partners search for and evaluate available jobs.

One Screen for Partners to Track Their Business
The new Workcenter homepage brings together the information partners check most often: jobs that need attention, messages, newly available work, upcoming payouts, and current performance scores.

  • Jobs and messages come first: Time-sensitive items surface at the top of the page, helping partners respond quickly and build a track record on the platform.
  • New work is easier to find: Available jobs appear directly on the homepage instead of requiring a separate search. In early testing, review time was cut by more than 60% and job acceptance rates increased approximately 15% for partners in Xometry's network.
  • Faster access to cash: Upcoming payouts are visible right away, with a direct path to FastPay, Xometry’s early-payment option for partners.
  • Greater performance visibility: Partners can see their quality and timeliness scores directly on the homepage.

A Faster, Smarter Way for Partners to Find and Accept Jobs
The new Workcenter puts every open job into one continuously updated view, so partners can set their preferences once and let high-fit jobs surface automatically when posted. It runs on the same matching and pricing engine that powers the rest of Xometry’s AI-native marketplace.

  • A board that fits every shop: The Job Board is built around how partners work, offering a visual card grid or dense row view, with layouts and formats that make full use of large shop monitors that partners use every day.
  • Filter preferences: Partners can narrow down jobs by process, certifications, and other criteria, with filters that apply to every job on the board.
  • Evaluate a job on one screen: An interactive 3D viewer with part previews, engineering drawings, and manufacturing requirements sits on one screen, allowing partners to quickly evaluate a job.

“The new Workcenter experience is a significant step in helping our manufacturing partners grow their business with Xometry,” said Silpa Gollapalli, SVP of Commercial and leader of the Partner Network at Xometry. “As the volume of jobs on our platform continues to grow, we’ve listened closely to our partners on what they need the most to accept more jobs on the platform with clarity and confidence. At its core, this is about making manufacturing more accessible and effective, giving partners a fast, clear way to see a job, understand it, and accept it – then manage it efficiently from start to finish. That means less time finding jobs and more time manufacturing and earning.”

"The Workcenter revamp is a huge improvement; it's easier to use, navigate, and customize. All my metrics are there the moment I log in, and that alone has cut down the time it takes me to see what needs my attention. It’s great to have Xometry invested in making our day-to-day easier,” said Christopher Rose, Owner of SimAx Precision, a member of the Xometry Partner Network.
