Rise Baking Company, LLC Expands Manufacturing Operations

Today, the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) awarded Rise Baking Company, LLC a post-performance tax reduction for its expansion in Weber County, supporting the company’s continued investment in its Pleasant View manufacturing facility and increased production capabilities. The corporate incentive is part of the state’s Economic Development Tax Increment Financing (EDTIF) program.

Under the agreement, Rise Baking Company projects adding 31 new, high-paying jobs and investing over $22 million in Utah over the next 10 years.

“Targeted growth in advanced manufacturing remains vital to building a balanced and resilient economy across Utah,” said GOED Commissioner Jefferson Moss. “Rise Baking Company’s capital investment in Weber County expands our production capacity, strengthens regional supply chain logistics, and provides stable, high-paying jobs for local residents over the next decade.”
